Welcome to the Academy

Thank you for considering the Academy as a potential training facility. We know there are a lot of gyms/martial arts schools out there and we appreciate you taking the time to check us out. We’re pretty confident you won’t be disappointed.

The information on this website should answer any questions you may have about our facility. You will find most of the general information here. This also includes more specific information, such as a brief history of the styles we teach, information on our CrossFit conditioning program, gym hours, class times and class descriptions.

Links to maps have been provided to make it easier to find us. This leaves us with the most important question, “How much does it cost?”. The Academy is run a little differently than most martial arts schools. We’re here to provide an awesome training experience, not to rip you off! To do this we do not use contracts, or use high pressure sales tactics. Our pricing structure is simple and includes a plan for everyone.

• GYM MEMBERSHIP: $55
  This is unlimited access to the Academy as a training facility, but does not include any classes. This is just like a membership to a health club, wrestling club, or a boxing gym.
• CLASS MEMBERSHIP: $110
  This includes unlimited classes as well as a free gym membership.

These prices are monthly, with no time obligation. Cancel anytime you’d like. Freeze your membership for up to three months each year. We use a billing system that automatically deducts your tuition from any account you’d like. There are no hidden charges and we waive any registration fees for all first time students. We believe you can’t find a more honest, straight-forward, or convenient structure anywhere!

So how do you get started? It’s simple: Call, e-mail, or just come by to set an appointment for a free introductory class of your choice. We realize that most activities are more fun if you do them with a friend, so feel free to bring a friend to try out the intro class with you. An instructor will meet with you prior to the class to show you the facility, explain the structure of class, and answer any questions you may have. After you’ve done the class, and you know that the Academy is the place for you, you can sign up with any of the instructors. I hope this website is useful.
